If love was found at a convenience store
I imagine it would be so easily picked up
Together with that favorite bag of chips
And that can of soda
Surely shelved in between the chocolates and the candy bars
All the things that make you smile
Stacked next to each other, down a single aisle
The cynics wouldn't say much
Their heads shaking in disapproval
But right next to the chocolates
Beside the shelf of my favorite candy bars
I'm sure I found love
At a convenience store
